Fitting Dry Seals

We supply the seals. You fit them.

General guidance for the installer. The fixing method depends on the panel system and the joint, so talk to David before the first joint.

What changes on the wall

Less to carry, less to wait for.

  • No masking tape on the panel faces
  • No backer rod to push in
  • No wet sealant bead to gun, tool or cure
  • The seal arrives in its final shape and colour

We supply the seals. Your installer fits them. If you need an installer, we can recommend one.

  1. 01 Measure

Measure the joint width, W, along the run.

  2. 02 Match

Use the profile matched to that joint.

  3. 03 Fit

Fit it into the joint, as agreed with David.

Illustrative. How the seal is fixed depends on the panel system: confirm it with David.

Before the first joint

Measure, then call.

Five things make the call quick. The drawing at the top of the page shows what W and L mean.

  1. Joint width, W. Measure it in a few places along the run. Note where it varies.
  2. Joint runs, L. Roughly how many metres of joint, horizontal and vertical.
  3. The panel system. Panel type, how the edges are formed and how the panels are fixed.
  4. The colour. The panel colour, or the seal colour you want.
  5. A photo or the detail. Email it to [email protected] before the call.
